I wasn’t entirely sure what happened. I walked around the room and Joshua. I didn’t see any dull colors around us. Not suspecting that either of us had ventured to the in-between. I reached a handout slowly to touch Joshua’s arm. He didn’t move an inch as my fingers pushed him forward. “Joshua!” I yelled out, hoping that he would answer. Nothing, he just stood there. Saying nothing to me and not moving a muscle! Right then I turned to see the window in the room. A bird sat perched on the ledge. Wondering why the bird seemed to be just as motionless as Joshua. This couldn’t be happening, it had to move. Maybe just moving closer to the bird would make it fly away.
