I just stared at my phone completely befuddled as too why he would be reaching out. I didn’t doubt that Wyatt informed him of our discussion earlier. However, if I were going to reject him, it would be in person. I felt my stomach turn and just set the phone down without unlocking the screen. Seeing his name was more than I could handle.
