The girls shopped for so long Gianna’s feet grew tired. She wasn’t used to walking around so much. The girls picked out tons of clothes, and Gianna was grateful when Kristen said Zach was buying all of it. It definitely wasn’t in her budget to buy a new wardrobe for an eleven year old girl.
When they bought half the stuff in three stores, Kristen announced it was time for lunch. She treated everyone to veggie subs at a local deli since it was Good Friday, then Emily asked if they could go out for ice cream.
“I heard Bereton Creamery is open. What do you say we go there?”
Emily squealed and jumped up and down. Kristen shuttled everyone back to the car and headed back to Bereton. She tried to sell Gianna on how great of a guy Zach was for the drive back, which made Gianna curious.
