Chapter 10

Niki p.o.v.

I was on a log sitting eating while Naruto was tied up on it. How did we get here? Well let me give you a little summary: Our senseis told us about survival test and that we hadn't passed yet. We got here and waited for them for 2 to 3 hours. And so the bell test began, first Naruto attacked and got caught.

"Naruto. Do you need any help?" I ask from above the tree he was hanging.

"No thanks Niki-chan I can do it! Believe it!" He replies

"Well if you are sure..." Then I run to where Sasuke was hiding.

"Sasuke! We need to work as a team or else all of us will fail."

"I will win Kakashi alone I need to become stronger." I sigh and reply

"Well if you need me just scream."

 I run in the forest and saw Sakura who was caught in a genjutsu. I saw her waking up and of course, she wouldn't want to be in a team except if Sasuke was that team.

"Stupid teenage fangirl," I whisper angrily

 Then Taruko turn came to attack Kakashi, I climbed up a tree to watch my teammates from above. Taruko was fighting Kakashi while Orochimaru was going to capture Naruto who was ready to eat the bendos boxes. Taruko was going easy with Kakashi for the first part then both put their whole power but it resulted to Taruko being pinned to a tree with his sword so deep inside it (not that kind of deep pervs) so he couldn't take it off.

“Having a break?” I look down to see Orochimaru standing some branches under me.

“Only following Kakabaka teaching sensei.” I say mockingly.

I jumped back and started jumping from tree to tree with Orochimaru on my trail. We got to a clearing and I stopped. I turned facing him and then bowed.

"Want to do it the old fashion way." Oreo-sensei asks more like state.

“Stop talking and get in stance sensei.” I say with a serious expression. He stood in a normal position but I took out some sais I had and got in the position from the movie ‘The Mummy returns' to confuse him a little.

Then we started fighting I was using my sais. Until I got an evil brilliant idea. I threw them to him and started making some hand sign. Time went slower I run to his ear

“I am here Orochi-sama” He turns.

“No here” I resay to his ear

Then take the move to grab a bell but the jutsu went off and he caught me. I then run off and re-climb a tree.

‘I think it is time to tell them the purpose of the test.’

‘Yeah it is enough playing; for now’

I first went to Sakura who was with Sasuke.

“Guys we need to work together”

“No way I am working with you.”

"Sorry, Niki but I need to become stronger and I can do it only on my own."

I then went to Taruko but he didn’t listen either even if he knew it was the purpose.

Then the timer went off and I started walking down the path to the meeting place when suddenly I had a really bad headache.

‘Niki~’

‘What are you doing here?’

‘Remember where you go I go that means to other universes as well~’

‘It doesn’t matter go to hell.’

‘Oh but it is sooooooo long since we killed someone I missed it~~~~’

"No! Leave me alone!" I yell and my head starts to hurt more. I fell to my knees and hold my head while trying to resist the temptation, I groaned and clenched my teeth not to let a scream.

“Niki?” Orochi-sama asks standing in front of me. 

He crunched down and looked at me concerned and helped me off the ground. We started walking back. I could feel the tension in his walk and his eyes travelling to me.

“what was that?”

“What was what?”

“The headache that you had, it was no normal headache.”

“It’s nothing that concerns you or the others.” I reply coldly to him. I knew he had so many questions that he wanted to ask but I didn’t let him and teleported to the others. I sat on a log swinging my legs while waiting for the others to gather.

‘Niki the bells?’ Selena asks in my head

‘Oh right’

I see Kakashi coming this way and I just use my superspeed to get behind him and get the bells and replace them before going back to my place on the poll. The team gathered around and sat down except Naruto who was tied on a poll.

"Oh your stomachs are growling, eh? By the way, about the results of this test... Well, there's no need for you guys to return to the Ninja Academy." Kakashi starts.

"What? All I did was pass out. Is that okay?" Sakura spoked confused. Then they all seemed happy. Sakura was just jumping around like an i***t.

(like seriously what the f**k is that???)

"Then...Then! That means the three of us...?"

"Yes, the five of you... " Orochimaru says

"...should quit being Ninja!" Kakashi finish. That is when everyone becomes a statue.

"Quit being Ninja?! Whatddaya mean?! Like sure we didn't take the bells...But why have you gotta tell us to quit?!"

"Because you four are just brats who don't deserve to become Ninja." Orochimaru says. That is when Sasuke does his drama queen act which results in Orochimaru sitting on him.

"Point proven."

"Get your foot off Sasuke"

"Do you guys think that being a Ninja is easy? Huh? Why do you think we're training by breaking into a team?"

"What do you mean?" Pinkette ask

"In other words, you guys don't understand the answer to this test." The copy cat ninja states

"That's right. The answer determines whether you pass or fail. "

"That's... what I've wanted to ask about." failure asks

"Geez are you guys brainless or what? Don't you get the meaning of the three-man squad?" Jounin asks

"What about five people being a squad?!"

"Can I talk now?" I ask getting bored with the situation.

"Sure" Oreo says

"First the test was for us to work together and not to show our strengths to survive you need to find some help. Second I have the four bells here (She gives it to each one of them) so we technically passed." I sit down again just looking at them.

"You mean working together?" (do I have to identify the person?)

"Exactly. But it's too late even if you noticed that now. Niki may have been able to take the bells but it would have been easier if you worked all together." Orochi told them.

"Well, that's too bad."

"Wait a minute! Why use teamwork if there were only four bells? If five of us were to take the bells with one person knowing they wouldn't get one then the group would be torn apart instead!"

"Of course! This is a test that tries to put us against each other. It's under such conditions where one's own interests aren't the issue. The intention was to select those who could prioritize teamwork." I say

"But all of you were pathetic, well except Niki. Sakura, You spent all your time worrying about Sasuke when Naruto was right in front of you! Naruto, all you did was to act on your own! Taruko! You knew the purpose but still did it on your own And you Sasuke assumed that those four were only going to get in your way and did your own thing! Everyone rejected Niki's help when she asked if they wanted to work as a team." Kakashi scolded all of them.

"Missions are carried out in teams. It's true that a Ninja needs to develop their skills individually but teamwork is considered much more important than that."

"Individual actions will disrupt teamwork and could lead the team into danger, or even death! For example Sakura! Kill Naruto, or else Sasuke dies! Taruko, Niki kill Sakura if she doesn't do it!" Oreo-sama told us I got out my kunai and stood ready to attack.

"Is... what will happen." Orochi said and I put the kunai back in my pocket

"Oh you scared me" Pickett said

"After someone is taken as hostage you're faced with a difficult decision and someone will be killed." Orichi got up from Sasuke and him and Kakashi headed to the KIA stone

"In every mission, you put your life on the line. Look at this... The many names engraved into this stone. These are all Ninjas who are praised as heroes in the village."

"That-that-that-that! I like thaaat! Now I wanna get my name put on there, too! A hero! A hero! I'm not dying' like a dog, ya know!"

"But, they're no ordinary heroes."

"Then what kind of heroes are they?"

"They're heroes who were K.I.A."

"That stands for killed in action Naruto." I say getting up from the ground, making Naruto's excitement stop.

"This is a memorial. My friend's names are engraved here, too." A moment of silence pass by but then Kakashi announce.

"We'll give you guys one more chance. However, once lunch is over I'll be pulling out all the stops! Only eat your lunch if you're up for the challenge. But don't let Naruto have any!"

"It's his punishment for breaking the rules and trying to eat lunch earlier. If someone lets him eat they will fail immediately. We make the rules here, got it?" Then they poufed out. I got up opened my bendo and went in front of Naruto.

"Open and don't say no or one of you others he needs his powers or else he will slow us down." I start feeding him and Sakura also starts helping. Then all hell broke out.

"You five" The crazy guy comes out and everyone screams.

"You broke the rules. I hope you're ready for the consequences!" Kakashi says

"Any last words?!" Orochimaru adds as his tongue comes out.

"But! But!But! It's what you said!"

"We're a five-man squad, right?"Sasuke adds

"That's right! The three of us are one!"

"Yes, we are a team!" Taruko say

"Either we like it or not. This is our shitty f*****g team. And I am saying it with all my heart." I conclude

"That's right! That's right! That's right! That's right, ya know!"

"The three of you are one, eh?"

"You pass"
