Chapter 5. Knowing Each Other

Alex POV
I'm waiting for her to go down.
"Why did she took this long?" I frown going upstairs.
I push my bedroom door open and see her struggling to zip her dress. I smile secretly. She's so damn sexy and flawless. I approach her to help her. I can't control myself, I suddenly have the urge to kiss her nape and shoulder.
"You're the sweetest" I whisper.
She suddenly turn around and push me but her touch made me want to kiss her so i hold her closer to my body. Look into her eyes and kiss her lips and to my surprise she responded so I deepen the kiss which causes her to push me hard.
"Let's go" I chuckled teasing her.
She's blushing so hard.
I know she's feeling the same way I feel but she's trying hard to ignore it. I suddenly stop to wait for her but she bump in my back. She's so clumsy and I like it. I look at her and she's rubbing her nose glaring at me, these makes me smile so i kiss her nose. I laugh at her reaction and guide her to my car.
"She's so cute" I thought.
Inside the car I lean forward to fix her seatbelt, she's shock thinking I will do something to her so i chuckle looking at her face.
She's closing her eyes and biting her lower lips blushing.
I keep silent because she's looking outside the window. I think she doesn't want to talk. Its better that way.
"Where will I drop you?" I asked and she look at me and gave me her address.
"Okay. By the way I'm Alexander Delgado, you can call me Alex if you want" I wink at her.
"It's not necessary" I heard her whisper.
"It is, you don't know if you will need me sometime" I told her with some meaning behind it.
"What do you mean??"She asked confused.
"Nothing" I shrug
"Can you give it a chance. We can start to know each other" I added. I don't want to end this.
"I'm sorry but this is not gonna work out. Thank you for your help". She said without glancing.
I keep silent. We reached our destination. I opened the door for her but before she walk past through me I grab her hand and hug her. I don't know what I'm doing. I just want her. I want her in my life.
"Please give me a chance"I said in a soft sincere voice.
"Sorry not now, give me time to think about it" she said and push me away.
I just look at her entering the lobby. I won't give up. I drive to the company. While entering the building my employees are greeting me. I entered my personal elevator.
"Thanks God you're already here Mr. Delgado, our Client is waiting inside the conference room" Jeremy said.
"Okay let's go and get this thing done" I walk towards the conference room and Jeremy followed me.
After a bunch of meetings I asked Jeremy about the thing I asked him to investigate. Reading every detail of it.
"How dare that bastard cheat her" I exclaimed
"but thanks to him,I got entangled with her". I smirk.
"Did you copy the cctv footage in the hotel?"
"Yes sir" Jeremy answer
"Jem, release the footage to the press.Target their company. Buy some of their stocks if their stocks drop.You should be ready" I instructed my assistant.
"I will teach that bastard a lesson." I added gritting my teeth.
"Hahaha, Oh bro is it really you, you do like that girl huh" He tease me.
"Let's call for a celebration, I'll call the group" he added laughing.
"Tsskk, next time bro, I have personal plan later. I'm going to catch a lioness" I said and smile widely.
"okay just inform us when bro and introduce us to your lioness".he said chuckling and went to his table and do his job.
I asked Jem to order bouquet of red roses before he go.
After signing the documents on my table, I decided to go to Tasha's work place. I have decided, I will court her. It's now or never.
I drive faster than usual. In the information that i read, she will be out at 6 in the afternoon. She's a fashion designer, a top one in their company so many girls who work there are jealous of her, for instance the other woman of her fiance.
"I'll do everything to have you"I told myself.
I waited at the entrance of their building. Leaning in my car and holding a bouquet of flowers. I saw the girls looking at my direction giggling. Why do all this girls have heavy makeups in their faces..... unlike her, she's a natural beauty. I was smiling thinking about this. She's so beautiful even if she doesn't have make up and she charmed everything around her. Thinking of those thoughts I looked at the front door and I was stunned I felt that the time slows down, She's walking towards my direction,her hair was blown by the air. She's like a Hollywood model. I gasp and hold my breath while she's approaching in my direction.
"My Goddess is here" I told her and she blushed. I smile.
"What are you doing here??.." she asked raising her brows.
"I'm here to give you this" I handed her the flowers
"So??." she said
"I think I need to do more effort to prove that I'm sincere in my intentions to you."
"This is my first time courting a woman, I don't know what to do or what you like. I want to know more about you. Just give me a chance." I pleaded
"I want to but I have to break my engagement to that cheater. I want to come clean, you should understand my point." she explained.
I'm so happy for what she said.
"I can help you with that"
"If you allow me to" I added looking at her eyes. Waiting for her to agree.
She just nod.
"Can we talk about it over dinner. Let's have dinner?" I asked
"Okay pick me up at 8:00 later. I'm going home first." she said blushing.
"Let's go, I will drive you home" I insisted
She stop me.
"No, I have my car. I'm going see you later" she started to walk away but she glance half way.
"Ohh I forgot, thanks for this flowers. These are my favorite" and she smile.
