Chapter 2. Betrayal

Natasha POV
My bff invited me to the bar. I think she have a problem on her crush again.Do you know who is it?? It's our playboy friend, Alfred.I think he has a girlfriend again so this girl is getting jealous ?. It's been almost a decade since she like that asshole but Alfie has no idea about it or maybe he has but he doesn't like the idea.
I glance at the mirror to check if my look is okay. I smiled because it's perfect.
I use a red bodycon dress paired with my red heels. I don't like heavy makeups so a little bit of it is enough for me, lipgloss, mascara and and some blush.
I pick up my purse and get into my car. I'm living alone in my condo.I bought it because it's near my work place and I like its interior.
As I enter the bar, I first call my fiance to inform him about this.
after 3 rings he answered
"hey babe, what's the matter?" I heard his sweet voice. I smiled
"babe, I'm at the bar with my bestie okay?. I think she has a problem again." I sigh as I inform him
"it's okay babe, just be careful and don't drink too much, okay" he slightly chuckle. I smile again
"Sorry if I can't accompany you cause i have lot to do and i have a meeting later" he said in an apologetic voice
"I understand, I love you babe" I said
"love you too babe" he sighed
and I end the call.
I entered the bar and saw my bestie in the counter drinking her glass.I sit beside her
"What's wrong Kath?" I asked in a concern voice. She just smile so I sigh
"Let's get drunk together" she said laughing
"Why is Alfie not here?" I innocently ask
she change her aura "I don't know,maybe he's f*****g someone again" She yelled. I smile secretly, I know that she's jealous...again..how many times does this happened, a hundred times i guess.haha.
"Why does that man can't see me?" she pout
"I don't know maybe he's blind or something" I sip my wine and laugh
While putting the glass down. I notice a man approaching the counter. I look at him, he's so handsome and mysterious. I just look, I can't take off my eyes from him as if he has a strong effect on me.
"Tasha stop it, you're engaged" I told myself
But I can't help it.But he just glance at me with blank face.no reaction and no emotion.
"wow no reaction huh" I thought
Maybe it's for the best I sigh.
I look at my bestie, she's wasted and I'm a little bit tipsy.
"Kath let's go home, you're drunk" I told her
"no Tash, I can handle more" she said laughing. Then tears comes in a second. She's crying.
"Am I not go...od.. eno...ugh" she cried
I just hug her and my phone vibrate.
I received a text message, an unknown sender
As I open my phone, my heart is beating faster. I don't know why.
from unknown number:
Feliz Hotel, room 509,9:00pm
I don't know what is this for but I can feel something is going to happen or I have a bad hunch about this message.
I look at my bestie and sigh. I think I need to go there. my intuition said I need to....
I dialed Alfie's number. After a second he picked up
"Evening gorgeous" he said playfully
"Alf, I need your help please" I asked
"What is it Tash?" he asked with curiosity
"Can you pick Kath here in Happiness Bar?"
"I need to go somewhere asap" I added
"okay I'll be there in 15minutes"he said and hung up
Katherine is wasted.I think she fall asleep when I am talking to Alfie. I'm getting anxious.I don't know what to think. The message, what's that for? I went to the bathroom to calm and fix myself. And there I encountered a pervert and to my surprised the handsome man I saw earlier help me out. I'm so dumbfounded that all I could say is thank you while watching him leave.
After some minutes, Alfie arrived and I waved at him. When he glance at Kath his eyes are questioning me.
" She has problems maybe you can help her solve it" I said and pat his back
"How?" he asked raising his brow
"Alf, You know what to do"
"I have an urgent matter to attend to okay?" I added
I pick my purse and glance at Alfie " please take care of her" I said and went to the parking area.
As I drive to the place texted by the stranger I feel uneasy and I'm getting nervous
"God, please not a bad one"I just pray.
Keep glancing at my watch. It's almost 9, I need to rush. I'm getting really curious.
At the hotel reception I asked them who took room 509,but they told me that they can't disclose any information from their customers so I took the other room beside it. Room 508 and thankfully it is still available.
When I got my keys, I rush towards the elevator.
Reaching the 5th floor, my chest is pounding really hard as if my heart is going burst outside my body.
I was walking towards my given room and when I'm near it I glance at the room beside it,the room in the mysterious text. My feet walks towards that room as if it has its own life. To my surprise the door knob was not locked. In my curiosity my hand is sweating when I tilt it to open. I heard a voice inside just like a whisper i walk inside the room cautiously and heard a moan. It's getting louder just like my heart beat it's getting louder too.
I'm in the front of the bedroom door when I heard a man,
"You're so sweet baby" he said in a husky voice. A girl is moaning "Ohhh Yeah, harder"
To my shocked the man's voice sounds familiar. It's like... It's like my .... fiance
My blood is boiling so hard as if my head is going to burst. I push open the door and I was so shock when I saw my fiance and her secretary both naked, sweating. He's pounding another girl. He glance at the door, I see lust in his eyes and suddenly changes his expression.
"Babe?" he said shocked by what he saw. I saw the girl smirk but I was so confused and angry.
A tears roll down my eyes.I feel lot of emotions right now so I hurriedly run towards the elevator.I heard Anthony shout my name but I ignore it and run as fast as I can.
The elevator is about to open and I hurriedly run when I bump to a wall...no a man instead.I look at him our eyes met but because of the tears in my eyes, I can't see his face clearly.
He was holding my back,and our body is so close that I can feel his hard breathing. I can smell his manly scent and a bit smell of alcohol.
"Are you okay miss?" he asked me in a concern voice.
I didn't answer. I'm about to push him when I heard my fiance called my name.
"Take me with you" words came out my mouth instantly
"Are you sure?" he hesitate.
I just nod and before my fiance sees me he put his coat in me and carry me bridal style.
"Don't worry I'll protect you" he said but I didn't think straight. I just keep on crying and ignoring the situation with this stranger.
I don't care anymore.
