I sat with my hands crossed on the table as I heard the sound of Mee's keys in the door as she opened the door and entered the apartment. My heart was racing against my chest as I swallowed nervously and looked in her direction as she entered the place and looked at me for some time.
"Hey..." I trailed off as she blinked in response and made move to walk away, "can I please talk to you. It's important," I added as I watched her walk around the kitchen island and lean against the fridge as she began to bite on her bottom lip.
"What is it, Kim?" she asked me as she tilted her head and unbuttoned the first few buttons of her shirt.
"How was your day?" I asked her, trying so hard to delay the process but I know it won't work out. My bags were already packed because I knew she'd kick me out
