Ellie's POV
"Ellie, wake up, you are getting a phone call," Tate said, shaking me awake. I was sound asleep and having a hard time waking up fully but then it hit me who was calling. I snatched the phone out of his hand and sat up. Preslee rolled into my spot and giggled.
"Hello," I said, answering the phone and walking to Tates room.
"Ellie oh god, is that you," my father's voice filtered through the phone.
Tate was right behind me, and he shut the door as softly as you could, and I turned it on speaker phone.
"Hi dad."
"It's so good to hear your voice. I was afraid you wouldn't find my letter."
