LEGEND'S POV

Later that evening at the agency.

"Big boss, Legend's mission should be given to me,am sure I can do a better job. I saw Legend playing around with his next victim. How is he supposed to get the job done when he's trying to be friends with his target" Axel announced.

"Legend you didn't respond after your mission was assigned to you. You know exactly what to do when you've been given a mission" The big boss reminded.

"We should remind him in a better way,I think he's beginning to forget his place. Boot head" Axel cursed glaring at me.

Axel hates me this much because his father shows me mercy more than he shows to him. Oh yeah he's the big boss's second son and the dummest but smartest amongst we all in the agency. Why do I have the feeling there's something else that's why he doesn't like me. When I first came here,he was the only one who was nice to me.

SIX YEARS BACK

I was only twelve years old when I first arrived at the agency.

The innocent me walking through the hallway looking around, staring at dangerous weapons hung on the wall of the weapon room.

"Wow this looks cool" I said smiling as I tried to touch one of the weapons but all the security break in alarms got alerted and all the secret weapons began to attack me. Luckily I dodged some of it before Axel switched it off.

First time I was meeting Axel,same age as me,more good looking than I am.

"The newbie right" He asked with a smile.

"Yeah,my name's Liam,sorry henceforth my name's Legend. Call me Legend" I said in a professional tone.

"My name's Axel. You're new here,you shouldn't touch things. Everything on this estate is very sensitive. I should show you around and I almost forgot to say something" He estimated.

"Something" I asked confused.

"You have a nice voice" He confessed and we both laughed.

Axel and I became close friends,we shared our secrets together,we trained together,we went to school together but everything changed when I made Chloe my girlfriend although I didn't love her.

"Why did you agree to be her boyfriend" Axel shouted.

"I agreed to be her boyfriend because she was fun and she's a free girl"I added.

"Just that,you didn't even bother to think about how other people would feel about this. You're just as selfish as your father" He whined and walked away.

Ever since then we drift apart and we suddenly stopped talking to each other.

BACK TO PRESENT

"Axel we don't have to go that far to remind him of what he's supposed to do. Legend you should bring Grayson here before 12midnight tomorrow" The big boss pronounced and his voice echoed. I bowed and walked away.

"He still didn't say a word" Axel yelled miserably and I scoffed.

"You miss my voice don't you" I mumbled with a smile then left the agency.

AXEL'S POV

I went back home feeling very uneasy because of Legend's new target.

"Am I the one who's dumb or Legend's just too dense to realize anything"

FLASHBACK "Axel you're the only good person I've ever seen my whole life. I want us to be friends always" Legend said smiling.

"Pinky swear" I added smiling and we crossed our pinkies. FLASHBACK ends.

"Such a day" I groaned and fell on my bed,I turned to the other side of my room and it was filled with Legend's pictures.

"I'm very sure,he has no idea, I've got his pictures pasted everywhere in my room. Legend you're really dense about my feelings for you"

I'm upset with you because you can't see how much I care for you. Why do you want to be friends with Grayson. I thought I was the only friend you had. You don't even have any plans on mending our friendship.

Legend doesn't care about people's feelings,what if he gets swayed by Grayson's little tricks to get his attention.

"Yeah,I saw everything"

FLASHBACK ' Grayson texted on his phone and those armed guys came out from where they were hiding then he whispered something to them and they nodded. FLASHBACK ends.

"Legend don't worry I've got this covered. There's no way am letting anyone sway you into doing something you would regret. The least I would do is break one of the agency's rules" I smirked and Ezra knocked on my door.

"Little bro what are you doing? I could even hear your thoughts in my bedroom. The look on your face tells me, you're planning on doing something that would annoy the big boss" Ezra said with a smile and sat on my bed.

"Holy s**t, don't tell me you still have a crush on Legend mute" He added with a silly smile staring at the pictures on the wall.

"Bro you have no idea who your little brother is. I don't let things go,not easily but never" I announced.

"Now you're sounding like big boss. So when do you plan on confessing your love to Legend mute" He asked smiling.

"Legend mute,what's Legend mute" I asked sarcastically and he laughed.

"Legend never talks or say anything so I named him Legend mute,now that sounds more legendary" He joked and we both laughed.

Ezra is my elder brother,more of like a twin brother and best friend. He never fails to put a smile on my face,he may joke around a lot but he's the best assassin we have here in the country.

"Bro please can you write my school transfer letter" I said smiling.

"Whenever you smile like that, you're planning on doing something evil. Which school do you plan on transferring to" He asked curiously and I smiled looking away.

AUTHOR'S POV

Next morning at school, Legend was fast asleep like he never had a night rest yesterday. The classroom teacher came into the class and unfortunately it was Mr Gael. At the sight of seeing Legend asleep Mr Gael became furious and he screamed out Legend's name.

"Legend Oliver" Mr Gael screamed and fear gripped everyone in the class, jacking Legend off the dream land.

"Sir" Legend responded as he stood on his feet.

Mr Gael can't you love me a little bit. You're being so wicked to me. Last night I didn't dare to close my eyes because silver Dad lectured me all through the night till this morning. Legend thought frustratedly as he made to sit down but Mr Gael glared at him.

"I should introduce our new student to you all. Axel come in" Mr Gael said with a smile.
