I knock on the door," come in Kaine." I open the door to dad standing behind his desk. Gabe and Derek sitting in the chair in front of the desk. I wall in closing the door, " that's probably not a bad choice dad. Is there someone on the council that can be trusted?" Dad takes a second, " Daphne. She's one of the elders in our community. She'll be able to assess the situation."
" You and Gabe should go visit her sometime today." Dad nods, " how's training?"
"It's going great, Devin got them working hard." He nods his head pacing behind the desk.
" Gabe will stay here while me and Derke go see Daphne." We all agree, " let's eat lunch mom wants to see you."
We all leave the office going to the dining hall. Dad goes to the head of the table while I find an empty seat next to Tommy.
