Eager For Revenge

Elisha’s POV

Very early in the morning we left the castle for Illah without telling Amadi. I took my black box and was thinking of the past, then I began to see the names of those on my kill list:

Fola Adebayo, Eniola Abebayo, Dr Rita, and Ufuoma.

At Illah

We got to Illah and I had to look for the only two persons I trusted, they are Ada and Brume.

Brume was captured by the Adebayo’s, because he helped me escape, so I’m going to rescue him.

I am very sure they kept him at the dungeon, so I and Triss went there. But for us to do that, we have to cause a destruction to allow the guards leave the gates.

“We need a flipping distraction, how in the name of the gods do we do it.” I said

“I will handle it. ” Triss replied as she left

Triss’ POV

“ Flipping. “ I said as I laughed.

I know I’ve only known him for just a short time, but that guy uses the word way too much, is he addicted or something. All these nobles with using one particular word every damn time.

I went to the horse stables and set fire on the hay, to burn the stable, I let out the horses to create more distraction, then I saw all the guards running towards the stable, then I quickly went to hide.

But then suddenly I heard low footsteps approaching me, it didn’t sound like Elisha, So I just hid there staying quiet, then I heard a female voice saying

“Come out human. Why don’t we have a little chat together”

I decided to come out to see who it was. I stood up as I saw the female figure was average height, she wore a black sleeveless blouse and black slim trousers, she had white and yellow hair and on my eyes I could see a writing saying

“The Frost Knight”.

She held two yellow fans in her hands and wore a kind of elevated sandals.

“Why don’t we introduce ourselves? “ She suggested

“ Is this really necessary? ” I asked

“ Oh come on! Don’t you know it’s more fun knowing the name of your prey. “ She replied wearing a cringe smile.

“ Well I’m not a fan of predator and prey, but alright. I’m Triss. “ I said.

“ Lovely. “ She responded

“I am Hannah, THE FROST KNIGHT” She added as she spread out her arms

“ A demon huh “ I said as I realized who she was

“ Yeah. It’s fun by the way, not aging and not having to experience what humans face “ She said smiling

“Become a demon like me and we can be friends and chat forever” She added

“ Nahh, that’s a hard pass. Being a human is okay for me, l get to eat, sleeo go out and do whatever I want. What more can one ask for. ” I replied

“ And why do you think that’s fun and something worthwhile? “ Hannah asked

“ The fact that we humans are vulnerable, can grow old, become sick and heal again, learn new things and all other tantrums. All these are gifts and treasures greater than any. “ I replied

“ Hahahaha. That’s messed up gyal. “ She said laughing

“ You why did you give up your humanity.. I don’t see anything fun being a demon “ I said to her as she looked at me weirdly

“ Anything fun? Being a demon is the best thing that can ever happen to anyone “ She responded

“ Well I guess I don’t really care what you think though. “ I said as I saw she was offended a little

“ Hahahaha. Forget about that, so now I ask once again become a demon like me or die? “ She asked taking a stance ready to run towards me

“Once again, I say NAHH to your offer” I replied

“Then so be it human, you f*****g diiee!! “ She yelled

Then suddenly she threw one of her fans at me, I was able to bend to dodge it but it cut my hair a little. Then it returned to her like a boomerang.

“I better watch out for her fans” I said to myself

“Hahaha” She laughed aloud

She ran towards me with a great force, then I noticed her fan was close to my neck, so I pushed her away with wind and I formed swords with ice.

“Let’s dance” I said.

We ran towards each other shouting as she then threw her both fans at me, I hit one away with my sword, then the other cut me a little by my stomach.

Then I formed another blade with ice magic, as I cut off her hand, but she regenerated it immediately.

“ You see, being a demon is the best!! “ She yelled as she kept on striking me from different directions.

She was able to cut through my ice sword and cutting my face a little, then she licked my blood off her fan as she jumped back a little and stood still.

“Now that I have tasted your blood, killing you will be one of my goals” She said

“Killing you too will be one of my goals b***h. ” I replied as she took a running stance and said with a dark voice.

“ Demon Style: Explosive Dance “

Then suddenly, I heard an explosive sound and I saw her moving towards me with great speed faster than before, I couldn’t detect where she was going to reach and what she was about to do.

All I knew was that as she collided with me, I began to feel her fans slicing me all over my body, since I couldn’t see how I just did wind magic pushing everything close to me away.

After I did that, I didn’t see her again, so I decided to run away. As I was running I looked back and saw her standing on one spot, licking off my blood that was on her fans, then she said loudly.

“We shall meet again darling!!”

At The Castle Balcony, In Illah

Eniola’s POV

I stood at the balcony of my room in the castle, I looked outside seeing explosions and fire outside around the horse stables.

Then suddenly, I saw Hannah on my window, clinging to it.

Then she jumped into my room, I saw her licking blood off her fans.

“What was happening out there?” I asked

“Don’t worry, just a human who set the horse stables on fire” She replied

“And you took care of it?” I asked

“ Yes, of course, you sure you talking to right person? ” Hannah replied

“ Oh shut up. Always playing with everything. I simply don’t want anything interfering with my plans” I said

Elisha’s POV

I entered the dungeon without the guards spotting me, as I was walking looking for Brume’s cell.

I saw other civilians locked up in various cells. I felt guilty and let them out in exchange they showed me Brume’s cell, then I released him.

“Hey Elisha, took you long enough” He said laughing

“ You’re flipping welcome” I replied sarcastically

“ Let’s go we need to look for Ada, she is our only hope in taking back Illah” He said

“Yeah, you’re right” I replied.

We left the dungeon as we were outside going to the gates, then I felt a rustle on my black box, when I held it up to my face, I saw the name “ Dr. Rita”, on the side of the black box.

She was the one that captured both me and my sister. She tortured me continuously so that I could tell her how to access the castle’s underground vault, but I resisted, then she took my sister and in front of me she electrocuted her, then I had no choice as I stopped her and told her how to access the vault.

I followed Dr. Rita from behind as I held my black box with rage, I had already worn my Raven mask as my black smoke began to flow out of me slowly.

She turned and faced me as she asked

“ Who are you freak”

“ I have come to deliver death unto you” I replied as my black smoke enveloped the both of us.

She couldn’t see anything except my Raven mask, I aimed my gun at her.

She threw a knife at me but then I shot the knife and her right hand off. She screamed in pain as blood was gushing out of her half hand.

I was about to kill her, when I heard Brume’s voice saying.

“ Don’t, she will be useful in getting into the castle”

“ Fine, keep her in your custody, I won’t show her my face until the day she is to die” I replied back.

Then Suddenly, I saw Triss running towards me dripping with blood all over her body.

“ Let’s go now, we will come back later” She said

“Why? What happened? “ I asked

" The Adebayo's, have a demon working with them" She said

" Let's go, we will come back when we are fully prepared" She added

"Fine, Brume, keep Rita in your custody till I return!" I shouted

"That's fine with me" He replied

Then Triss opened a portal to The Slayers castle, then we jumped through it.
