Eager For Answers

At The Slayers Castle, Kwale

Triss and Elisha came through the portal landing directly in front of Amadi and Nnamdi.

Triss was treated with some elixirs as Amadi sat close to her.

Amadi’s POV

I sat down close to Triss who was lying on the bed.

“ What happened to you?” I asked

“ We went to Illah to try and kill the Adebayo’s, but I ran into a female demon” She replied.

“Did she have any writing on her eye? “ I asked

“Yes” She replied

“ Okay rest, Nnamdi will watch over you, I am going out. “ I said.

As I was walking away, I was still wondering what those writings are, it looks like it is their identifications, but if it is their identifications how is it arranged and how many are they.

I took my black coat and wore it to cover my armour, then I put my black steel and newly forged silver sword in their sheaths and carried them incase of any trouble.

Then I took Hush my horse and began my journey to Osubi to look for the mage.

As I rode on Hush through the forest, I sensed something so I came down from my horse, I stood still listening then I saw a Kishlin, it had lost a hand and I noticed something on it, it was Jax’s necklace, it was hanging on the body of the kishlin.

“ Ahh a kishlin. I guess it’s finally time to transfer the aggression of your kind killing my brother. ” I softly although I was filled with rage

And then with rage I took my silver sword, ran towards it. But then it sensed me as it sent it’s sharp branches towards me.

I cut them with my sword, dodged some then suddenly I saw a kind of monster, stab the kishlin and ripped it into two and scattered the kishlin.

“ What the “ I exclaimed as I stared at the monster.

This monster was different, I have never seen any monster like this in my life.

Suddenly the monster ran towards me and tried to cut me with it’s claws but I used my sword to shield myself.

I then ran and stabbed the monster but it didn’t penetrate it’s body. It’s body was thicker than any monster I have fought.

So I heated my sword with fire magic to increase the rate of penetration, then I ran towards it, pushed myself upwards with wind magic then I noticed a tentacle grew from the monster’s back.

It was coming to stab me but I froze it with ice magic, then with my heated sword I cut off the tentacle, then I used the method of when I freeze any part of the monster’s body I will cut it off immediately.

So I ran towards it, I froze the leg and cut it off to make it stumble, then I pushed it up with wind then I pushed myself upwards with wind following it as I used fire magic to heat my sword the more till it was red hot then immediately I sliced the monster into two.

When I landed on the ground, I took samples of the monster to take back to the castle’s lab as I also noticed black burnt marks on my sword’s blade. I continued my journey to Osubi.

When I got to Osubi I looked for a blacksmith to sharpen and polish my silver sword, then after that I began my search for The Sea’s Eyes. The Sea’s Eyes is an old mage. She has answers to any question and the knowledge of everything and anything, but her exact location is the task and great difficulty, but there are some people who have knowledge of her hut, so it’s just to come in contact with at least one.

I asked around for the mage until a man told me the directions to the her hut.

“ When you get there, you will see only the back of the hut, say these words on this scroll and it will turn to face you” The man said

“ Thanks” I replied

The mages hut was deep in the forest, I began my journey after I collected my silver sword back from the blacksmith. I kept my horse Hush in the blacksmith’s stable.

“ Hey!! Hold up! “ A voice yelled as I turned to face him. It was a guy average height, he wore a brown coat that was long to almost touching the ground, he wore a white inner shirt on brown trousers and brown sandals with black socks.

I noticed he was armed with knives, two slotted by the sides of both arms, two on the sides of his waist, four on his chest, two by the sides of his thighs and two by the sides of both legs.

“ Who are you? “ I asked

“ I am Attah, your biggest fan and I’m coming along with you” He replied

“ Ohkay Attah let’s take things slow. First of all my biggest fan wow, and why do you think you can come with me? “ I asked

“ Oh simple. I’ve always dreamed of going on an adventure and mission with you, the famous White Wolf. The man who defeated and army of monsters himself, the army of an entire nation. ” He replied as I chuckled

“ You can’t come obviously, because I can’t let my biggest get put in danger. ” I said hopefully that he will buzz off.

“ Well sir, what are these babies for” He responded pointing to his knives

“ Arrgh. Alright biggest fan, let’s see what you are capable of. Don’t slow me down. “ I said.
