A knock sounded at my door, I knew it was one of my men so without even looking up from my paperwork, I called out, " Enter! "
The door pushed open, I listened as the soles of some shoes entered into my near empty office, reminding me of my impending move. The movement stopped just in front of me, on the other side of my desk.
My men know not to speak without being spoken and this time it's no different.
" State your business. " I ground out.
" Sir, you have a phone call. "
