(Lucy’s POV) Seven days. That is the amount of time that has passed since the suspension letter arrived on my desk like a death sentence. It has been seven days since Amelia Wolfe's hotel door clicked shut behind her. Since then, I had not spoken to anyone. Even though Adrian's name appeared on the phone every morning and night like an unavoidable reminder, I hadn't picked up his calls. Before listening, I erased all of the voicemails.
