Chapter 6

Stella POV

I walked around my boutique to check the order of the display of clothes. Shortly my steps came to a halt and anger rose in me

"How many times I have told you all to keep the old and new collections singly? Why is this dress on the main rack? It was clearly of the last season!!" I threw the dress on the manager's face.

"It was selling well so I displayed it with the new arrivals" she shivered and replied in a very low voice.

"To heck with the selling well! Brand's reputation, as well as the honesty and discipline, is important! If next time, I see a fault like this then submit your resignation and leave on your own accord" I shouted at her.

"I assure you, Miss Blade, this mistake won't occur again" she hurried back to rearrange the racks full of clothes.

"Why are you all still standing here? go and resume your work!" I was annoyed at the staff standing still behind me.

They all scurried back.

"A bunch of slackers" I mumbled angrily and walked into my office.

I was about to check the sales list for this month but the ringing of my phone stopped me from doing so.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Kyle's voice came from the speakers of my mobile.

"I am at the boutique" I replied in a boring voice as I spin my chair.

"A hard-working lady like you will soon get old and then you won't be able to seduce Aaron" rumble of her laughter could be heard from the phone.

"Admit that you are jealous of my looks and my working charm" I teased her.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night!! I called to discuss the next meeting with Aaron. Should we meet him today? It's been four days, I don't want him to forget about you completely." she asked me.

I clicked the pen on the table while thinking of an idea for the next encounter between us.

"Are you listening to me!" Kyle's voice brought me back from my thoughts.

"Yes, I am. Find his whereabouts, it's time to meet him again" I said to her as I got up from my seat and strolled outside the office. My gaze suddenly stopped at the front. Shock and fear crowded me and my breath hitched at the sight in front of me. Aaron stood there talking to a sales girl.

"Okay then, I will inform you shortly" she was about to end the call when I stopped her.

"Wait........... I think there is no need for that" I mumbled in a low voice.

"Why?" She questioned abruptly.

"He is here!" I announced looking at Aaron talking with a sales girl.

"Who? Aaron? What is he doing there? Does he know about your identity? How are his expressions? How will you deal with him?" she spoke questions after questions to which I didn't know the answers. I ended the call and rushed over to the scene in case the sales girl reveal more information than necessary. In a short moment, I collect myself

"Jaz, is there any problem here?" I politely asked the sales girl in the uniform.

"Sera!" I could feel the shock in his tone. I looked at him trying to judge whether the expression was true or fake.

"What a coincidence! we met again!" I gave him a fake smile.

"Yeah, I wonder if it is a coincidence" his curious eyes searched for truth in my eyes.

"What does he mean? He was the one who came to my place and here he is giving me this attitude" my subconsciousness spoke with anger in my mind.

"Fate has its ways" I spoke with the flow to see what he was up to.

"How about we catch up another time? I am here on business today" he tried to back me off coldly.

"Like I want to stay with your cold ass. If it weren't for my mother, I wouldn't even see your pathetic face" I thought as I rolled my eyes at him.

"I heard that you wanted to meet the store owner. Can I ask the reason?" I asked as I earlier heard him asking jazz about me.

"None of your concern" He replied coldly and was about to walk away when I called him

"I am the store manager here, you can address your concerns to me" I walked in front of him seductively.

To be honest, he again looked shocked at my declaration. It seemed like he was not expecting it.

"So he isn't here for me then why is he asking about the store owner?" I thought.

"Sera, What a surprise!" A boy came beside Aaron. He strangely looked at me. I could sense that he didn't like me. At first, I didn't recognize him but after looking carefully at his face, I remembered that he was the boy who was sitting beside Aaron in the club.

"Nice to meet you, Mr......" I gave him a polite gesture.

"Call me, Liam!" he shook his hand with mine.

"I want to meet Miss Blade. I have something important to discuss with her. Can you get me through her?" Aaron grew impatient.

"What exactly is he up to? " I tried to figure out answers from his poker face.

I didn't know what should I do so in a moment of impulse, I decided to lie

"I am sorry to inform you that Miss Blade is not in the office today. You two can leave a message, I will pass it to her once she returns" I gave a fake smile to the two of them.

The disappointment was as clear on Aaron's face as one's image in clear water. He wanted to meet Stella eagerly but I couldn't figure out the reason for it.

"No need, we will visit her some other day" Liam spoke up on the behalf of Aaron. Aaron just nodded at me.

"Brother is she sister-in........ I mean Stella?" A young girl came by Aaron's side.

She was wrapped in branded clothing. Her demeanor resembles a girl of high class and sophisticated society.

"Cristal, this is Sera............... A friend of mine" the word friend seemed like the bitter balsam in his mouth.

Hearing her name, I remembered her. She was the youngest doted princess of the family.

Cristal examined me from my feet to the top of my head. She was trying to judge me.

"Cristal, did you check out the new collection? I think that some articles might match your taste" I tried to start a conversation with her.

"Thank you, I did! Stella got a good taste! I will visit the store some other day" she complimented Stella more correctly me.

"You all are welcome here anytime!" I gave a formal farewell. I wanted to talk to Aaron but his aura told everyone to f**k off.

Aaron just walked out without even looking at me while on the other hand Liam and Cristal gave small goodbyes and left me with a bunch of confusing questions in my mind.
