SIGNIFICANTLY LESS SATISFYING
After gathering my few items along with Darcy and his stuff, Louis takes us to the phone store. Beatrice and Dex follow in another SUV. Louis told me they’re all armored. Somehow, that didn’t surprise me. Jo leads me away from cheaper phone models to the latest and greatest, and I keep my peace. She’s paying, so she gets to choose, though I do pick out the color and a pretty case for it. Thankfully, they are able to transfer my old number and retrieve my contacts, and when we walk out an hour or so later, I have a sweet new smartphone that I’m actually pretty thrilled about. Jo added me to her account, and now I have unlimited everything. It’s the fanciest piece of technology I’ve ever owned.
