Penelope Peters was a mystery. She’d arrived in Ireland in late May. Brought in on a private jet that was owned by my friend, Prince Aiden of Ireland. Aiden and I had met at boarding school. We’d shared a dorm since we were twelve. Aiden had rescued her after she’d been kidnapped and the two had shared one kiss.
Since then, nothing had happened between the two. I met Penelope Peters at a royal charity event that summer, the one event that Penelope had attended because Aiden had forced her to.
