Cori’s POV I hear someone walking behind me, but I really have to pee, so I don’t turn back to check who it is. They probably have to use the restroom too, but unlike me, they can wait, while I have about five seconds before I spring a leak. This is by far the worst part of pregnancy, and it almost makes me want to drink less, but that would only lead to other issues that can’t be solved by a trip to the toilet. I handle my business, take a second to make sure that I’m really done, wash my hands, and open the door, almost fainting from shock when I see that Mark is waiting outside of it. “You scared me!” I whisper-shout, no longer as afraid of the man as I used to be. “Sorry I took so long.” “What is your end game with all this?” I look up at the man, confused about what he’s asking.
