'Mistake'
Ashton’s POV Cori literally couldn’t choose which gift was the best. She’s such a humble person that they all appealed to her, especially after I forbade her from choosing Clarence’s breast pump gift. It’s exactly the brand that my girlfriend wanted, but I don’t like the idea of him researching anything for her boobs; that’s my job alone. “Can’t I just invite them all to dinner?” Several people chuckle, but because I know that she’s serious, I declare it to be a tie, making those more competitive among us ‘boo’ until they catch sight of Cori’s pout. “Please forgive me,” she timidly says. “Maybe we can celebrate Ashton’s birthday together.” They agree, but it's mostly because I’m glaring at them from behind her. Even Mark settles down and decides to ask Cori about the gifts he bought.
