Reclining on one of the chairs in Ed’s law firm, John Davis tried to relax. The other attorneys were busy working on drafting responses to discovery requests received from the plaintiffs’ counsel. Lehua and Carl were seated next to each other. Both held printed copies of the discovery requests and were perusing them.
“This request for admission is strange,” Carl stated as he showed it to Lehua. “I’ve never seen one like this before and never propounded one when I was a plaintiff’s attorney.”
