A Few Hours Later
When Pamela exited Room 302, she slowly walked down the hallway to where Daniel and Ed were waiting for her at the nursing station. As she requested, they drove to the hospital shortly after landing on Maui eager to find out what happened.
“How is he?” Daniel anxiously asked partially out of guilt for being the one who requested that Pamela place a mole in the sovereignty movement as well as genuine concern for his well-being.
“He’s doing much better. John is with him asking some follow-up questions,” Pamela replied. She then gently tapped Daniel on the shoulder and whispered to both of them, “Come with me.”
