The Same Night
Jeff exited the Prince Kūhiō Federal Building for a pre-arranged meeting with a confidential informant he’d been working with on the resort case. Little did he realize it, but the informant’s request was really a diversion. Someone needed Jeff out of his office and away from the other CIA agents. But most of all, someone needed to meet with Jeff alone without prying eyes. They knew Jeff as a CIA officer wouldn’t be tailed. Nor would any communications he had be electronically monitored by the federal government.
