At the Same Time
The stately gentleman who previously visited Gerald Ravan let himself into his office without first being announced. He was wearing an identical dark suit like he wore the last time. Instead of immediately greeting Gerald, he quietly observed for a few moments. Gerald was reviewing what appeared to be legal documents of some sort, oblivious to his presence. He was apparently enthralled by his work and unaware of his surroundings. The gentleman took note of it for future reference.
Coughing slightly to get his attention, he then took a step forward and removed his hat. This time he spoke in Japanese because Gerald was fluent in it.
“Mr. Ravan, please excuse me for interrupting you.”
