CHAPTER 3: MASSIMO

I woke up with a major headache. I had way too many drinks last night. I tried to roll over but noticed I had 3 bodies in the bed with me. 3 DEAD female bodies in the bed with me. Damn ! I told them not to let me bite them. They didn't want to listen. Thought it would be fun. What turned into a night supposedly just for s*x, ended in death. I have to call Arrowhead to clean this up for me. Get these bitches out of my bed and dispose of their bodies correctly. I don't need any more rogue vampires running around here. I worked way too hard to build this empire, my legacy. Just to have it all come crumbling down due to reckless actions. I grabbed my phone to check my calendar to see what I had planned today.

I forgot I had a meeting at 10:00AM with the owner of the Cashmere Palace. A newly built strip club I allowed to be built on my property. From what I heard about him, he is a rich, spoiled prick just spending all his dead father's money. Also, he is human, so he is of no threat to me. He is easily disposable too. I called Arrowhead to come upstairs. He is my bodyguard and little brother. I practically raised him. He clearly forgot about the meeting too or this mess would have been cleaned up. He comes through the front door with a bag of blood in his hand. I shake my head.

"Now what if they were still alive? You would just be walking around drinking blood?" I said quiet concerned. He looked at the bed of 3 dead girls, then looked back at me.

"I mean, if they were still alive, I would have just killed them. But since they are dead and their bodies are completely drained of blood, their opinion is kinda invalid right now." I laughed. He was always a smart ass. "Help me get rid of these bodies. "I have a 10:00AM business meeting with that spoiled prick downtown." Arrowhead laughed. "Since when do you do meetings? I thought we was gonna kill this guy and take the property back? What is there to even talk about?" I started walking towards my walk-in closet. Arrowhead is so quick to kill. Just take, take, and take. He doesn't fully understand the politics on how these things go. I can't just walk into that mans club, kill him and take over the club without someone questioning it. And to my luck, this guy is also a mama's boy. So I know his mother will raise hell about her missing son. I don't want to kill unless I have too. I turn to look at Arrowhead who had picked up all 3 bodies and had them over his shoulder.

"Be careful when you go outside Arrowhead. "I don't want you to get caught." I said to him as he was walking out my bedroom door. He turned around and smiled. "I'll be extra careful. Don't you worry." I closed my door and sat on my bed. I had no clue what i was going to wear or what I was going to say to this guy. I am interested in how much this club makes a night. My main goal is to have that club as an exclusive feeding spot for my top spenders. No more hunting random people for a quick fix. It's literally people out here willing to sacrifice their lives to help us feed. For them, its a freay kink. Who doesn't want to have s*x and get bite by a gorgeous vampire? Everyone does ! That is what sells and I'm going to be a billionaire off of it. Once I make this deal and get the Elites on board with me, that's it ! Straight to the top !

Then I can focus on finding my mate. I am 187 years old but I look 34. I have searched for many years, been all over the world looking for a mate to call my own. I'm actually shocked myself that I haven't found anyone yet. All the women and s*x I had over the years, and still no one has been able to hold my attention for longer than 20 minutes. They are all the same. I wouldn't dare try to mate with a human. I know for a fact I would kill them the first chance I get. The vampire females just want someone with money and who will kill on command for them. Humans are very emotional. They crave intimacy and love and ALOT of attention. Attention that I do not have to give.

I finally got dressed and brushed my hair. I checked the time. 9:30AM. s**t, almost time for me to meet and I still didn't eat breakfast. Maybe I could get one of the strippers and feed on her for a while after the meeting. I call Arrowhead and let him know that I am ready. I walk downstairs to see the maids and chefs already at work. Good. I also wanted to bring home one of the Elites, Celeste and have my chef cook us a nice dinner. Probably have s*x with her just to seal the deal after today. I see Arrowhead pull into the driveway from my kitchen window. I walk outside and get into the backseat. I call Adraino and let him know I'm on my way. I can see Arrowhead shaking his head while I'm on the phone.

"What bro? What did I do now ?" I said getting annoyed. He looks at me through the rearview mirror. "I just don't get why we cant just kill him and take the club? What if he doesn't want to make the club how we want to make it?" I rubbed my forehead. Even though him always being on go is a plus for me, it can at times be very stressful. It almost makes me regret turning my little brother into a vampire. I thought after 181 years his blood thirst would've been calm down. But apparently it's nowhere close to calming down. I took him under my wing because he was killing too much. The FBI was starting to look at The Elites and especially me. I had to get him disciplined before he f****d everything up for everyone. As we where pulling up to the club i faintly got a whiff of a scent. I didn't pay it no mind. Just probably something in the air. Afterall I am surrounded by humans 24/7. Then as I got out the car, I smelled it again. I looked all over the parking lot. Didn't see no one outside. Then I looked at the all-black Mercedes G Wagon that was parked. The scent is coming from that car. Then I saw her.

The most beautiful woman I ever saw in my 187 years of living. She looked directly at me and smiled. Who the hell was this woman and why is she smiling at me? Her eyes are beautiful. Her smile is eletricfing. Focus Massimo ! Now is not the time to get distracted. But she was beautiful. Maybe she is a dancer. She will be perfect to feed on. With a scent and face like that, pure ectasy awaits. Arrowhead and I walk into the club and is greeted by Adraino. He is taller than I expected. Also he kinda looks like me, but in a weird way. Almost like he could part of my family. But I know he's not. But still. It's f*****g weird.

"Ah Massimo, at last we meet. Good to see you. And who do we have here?" he said gesturing towards Arrowhead. I looked over at my brother who was anxiously waiting to rip his throat out. "This is my bodyguard. No worries, he won't give us any trouble. He can actually wait while we go talk." Arrowhead sucked his teeth. Adraino and I started walking to a VIP room upstairs when I smelled her again. Who is this woman, and why is her scent so potent ? Adraino had papers laid out on the couch in the VIP room. Obviously, the papers he wanted me to sign. He was staring at me as if he was trying to figure me out.

"I really appreciate you letting me buy this property and building my club here. As you can see, you will not have to worry about income revenue because we stay packed in here." Then he looked at the door and there she was. Her scent was even more powerful than before. Her hair wrapped neatly in a bun. Her beautiful face filled with so much life. But I can't hear her heart beating. What the f**k is this? She is getting closer to me and still no heart beat. She is smiling at me. She knows that I know what she is. She think this s**t is funny? I should call Arrowhead in here right now and have him rip her f*****g throat out. Does she know who I am? She can't possibly know. No vampire in this whole city has the balls to ever approach me face to face like this. Not without an appointment. Adraino introduces us and I find out her name is Karlena. Soon as our eyes met, I knew. She is my f*****g Mate ! Was Karlena who I've been searching for this whole time? She is also a very powerful vampire because she has me in a trance, unable to move, just my eyes stuck on her eyes. Cute. Very cute. She must know I'm her mate. Who the f**k is Adraino to her? Maybe I should tell Arrowhead to come up here and kill him after all. I'm still stuck in this trance while I watch Karlena lead Adraino out of the room. Where the f**k are they going? Why is she taking him and not me ? She has to know I'm all hers. I belong to her and she belongs to me. SHE IS MINES !
