Brooke's P.O.V. ~
No please God not him. I will take anyone other than him in this very moment.
"Guys who are these people and wh- Brooke?" I turn around and look into the same eyes I left years ago. The most beautiful pair of eyes anyone could ever see. One green, the other the lightest blue ever. Axel, my ex-boyfriend and the love of my life.
"B-brooke it really is you!" We don't make any move to get closer or father away from each other. I can't take the eye contact anymore so I turn around and face the guards standing there.
"Each of you will take one family in your cars to their respected houses. They have seven minutes to pack a go bag. If not out in the respected seven minutes you can use force, but not the usual amount. From their houses bring them to my plane. Wait until I'm there if I'm not already and only if I'm there can they exit the car. do you understand?" They all nod and bow to me before I tell them who goes with who. Once there's only me, my grandparents, the guy I knocked out before, and Axel. I look at my grandparents and then at Daniel.
"I'll help you pack your bags. You guys get your valuable things and any other thing you feel you absolutely need, I will pack you a few clothes then we will meet at the car." They move to their study which never gets used so I'm assuming it's just for hiding things. I sigh then make my way to my grandparents room. I hear footsteps behind me and automatically know it's Axel. I reach for the suitcase sitting on the top of the closet. It's dusty showing they haven't used it for ages. I begin placing some of their essentials in there. Undergarments, pyjamas, a few jumpers and other clothes.
"Are you just going to ignore me?" I tense a bit at his voice but then continue folding the clothes like I was before.
"I'm not ignoring anyone I'm just packing clothes in a suitcase." I hear him huff then footsteps come in my direction. He grabs my arm and turns me around.
"Where. Were. You?" He seethes out, clearly mad at the situation.
"I left, I thought you would've noticed." My sarcasm clearly made him madder so he digs his nails deeper into my arm.
"Why did you leave Brooke?! FOR SIX YEARS I HAD NO IDEA WHERE YOU WERE?! I though you were dead." He says the last part in a whisper and I feel a bit of pity. They all honestly thought I was dead?
"I can't tell you this now Axel, but if you want to know why I left then you need to come with me and my family. You can go to your house and collect anything valuable or if you don't have anything important you can't part with then I can get you a new, well a new everything where we go." I can see him thinking it over for a few minutes then he finally nods. He lets go of my arm and steps back.
"Would you like for me to call you an escort to your house or do you not need anything?"
"I don't need anything, I'm fine." I nod and continue to pack few things into my grandparents bag. As I'm about to lift it off the bed and carry it, another pair of hands comes out and grabs it. Axel. He always used to do this when we were dating. He would never let me lift anything. He always carried my bags and anything he deemed as heavy which was basically everything. I suck in a deep breath and am about to confront him when I hear the door opening indicating he left. I take out my phone and check the time. Crap I went over time here meaning I'll need to drive to the airport on the backroads where there's no cars. I walk back into the living area and see that the thief Daniel has been removed, most likely by one of my guys.
"Do you guys have everything you need?" I ask them in the softest voice which I don't really use much. They both nod and I inform them of where we're going and how we're getting there.
"We'll be taking my car, and you will need to sit in the back and I'll give you both pillows as I'm going to drive a bit fast so you can use these as a bit of a barrier between you and the car ok?" They once again nod and I now notice that these aren't the same people I left behind. They both used to be so happy and care free about the world and never stopped talking. Now they're barely talking and I don't know if it's the situation that's taking a toll on them or the fact that the granddaughter they thought was dead is now standing in front of them.
I make sure my grandparents are settled into the back before putting their belongings into the back of the car. Axel is already in the passenger seat when I enter. I put my seatbelt on before starting the car. The engine revs to life and so I take off. My grandparents live in a pretty populated area but if you take a certain road it leads to this dirt path that has nothing on it, but continue down there for a while and you get to the back of the airport. Follow the fence around for about two minutes you get the entrance for the private airfields.
"Beware guys I drive pretty fast." And then I take off. I made a drive that usually is forty minutes into a twenty minute one. Now we just got to check in and then we are cool to get on the plane. Driving up to the security booth, there's two guards sitting in there. The one checking people off didn't even look our way when the car pulled up.
"Brooke Flash." His eyes widened and he snapped his head this way. He takes an audible gulp then stutters.
"M-miss. F-f-flash we were t-told of your arrival so your plane is set to leave before anyone else's planes can. Is that to your liking Miss. F-flash?" I nod at him and turn back to the road in front of me indicating I don't want to talk to him anymore. He presses the button which opens up the gate. I drive over to the plot where my plane rests. I see all the cars there already. Hm, punctual. I park my car next to the others and step out. Immediately the guards get out and open the doors for my family. One by one everyone comes out and once the last person is out, the guards go to get the bags out.
"Come on people, let's get on the plane. Once we're in the air we can ask questions." I climb the stairs where the pilot and the co-pilot are waiting.
"Good day Miss. Flash. I hope todays flight will be to your liking." I nod to him and continue into the plane.
"Welcome to my plane." I say once everyone is on. They all have their mouths hanging down to the floor.
