His expression remained neutral, but Lisa’s eyes squinted. “Why are we suddenly canceling? Did something happen?”
Moving my gaze from Dave to Lisa, I tilted my head. She and Dave are the only ones who have the guts to question me because we have been together from day one. “When I say cancel,” I growled at her, “I expect you to do just that without any silly questions.”
