When I walked into Clara’s office, I expected to see her all happy and excited but then I saw a bit of anger and reservations in her eyes.
As much as I wanted her to open up to me, I wasn’t going to force her. However, when I stood up to leave and she didn’t mention anything about the state government deal I pulled through for her, I wondered if she was yet to receive the call.
But then she stopped me by the door and shared the news with me. Whilst hugging her, one question tugged me.
Why did it take her this much time to share it with me? She literally told me about her office space ASAP but then hesitated to share such incredible news with me.
I can only think of two reasons, The first one is that She heard something and is hiding it from me, or she’s upset with me about some
