Is he being serious right now? Pinching my brows, I glanced at the table clock. I should be getting off work by now. “Don’t you have anything meaningful to do at home?” I asked with bewilderment. “Don’t you have anyone waiting for you?”
He shook his head. “I Honestly do not have anything to do tonight because I cleared my schedule for you and I have no one waiting for me at home because she moved out and I hardly see her thanks to you.”
Is he talking about Clara? “And here I was, thinking I was the most lonely before I met your sister.”
