Arthit's POV "Kongpob!" I yelled my heart out. He was really good at getting on my nerves. I heard him chuckled. Bright whistled and Prem had a clever smile on his face. I knew Knot was just holding back his laughter by the way his jaw flexed. I looked at Kongpob, he was looking at me intently with an amuse grin on his lips. "Yes, captain? " he said grinning showing his perfect smile. "What? " I made sure that he could see the irritation on my face. "Are you game or not? " I asked impatiently. "Sure, but, " he closed his book and leaned his back on the chair comfortably. "But what? " "What do I get from it?" "What do you want? " I asked. He bit his lips while thinking then said. "What can you offer? " he asked playfully. "Just tell me what you want so we could get this over with, " I said. "You. " it was difficult to comprehend whether it was a question or a statement. "Stop fooling around, " I said in a stern tone. He smiled cleverly. "I was just kidding, " he winked. "You should brush up your sense of humor, it wasn't funny at all. " I said with a poker face. "I bet the other seniors would disagree, " I saw my friends having a hard time refraining themselves from laughing. Bright was biting his lips so hard that I felt like it was about to bleed. Prem shrugged and raised his hands then shook his head. Knot was silently laughing but then stopped when I looked at him. Later. I gave them a warning look. I just want this to be over. I pursed my lips. "On Saturday, at the gym," I muttered between my teeth. "I hope you already know what you want by then," "Okay, it's a date then. " he said calmly. "It's a game then. " I muttered between my teeth. I turned around to leave. I have been keeping my anger in because I don't want to get into trouble with coach. The three followed suit. I went straight to our basketball practice. I directed all my frustrations in it. "Arthit, let us hold the ball too. You're shooting non-stop. " a teammate complained while panting. "Then, go steal it. " I may be small but I was quick. Moreover, I was known to be good from the three point area. I did not improve overnight. I worked hard to be good at it. I joined every basketball summer camp and constantly challenged myself to become better. I guess hard work paid off. Sahit came across my mind. She was there along the way. She waited for me for hours during practice. She patiently endured my cockiness when I was tired. She constantly cheered me up when we lost in a game. She always has this cliche words of wisdom that somewhat helped me. I smiled bitterly and deeply sighed. I attempted a fake pass then turn to do a lay up. Shoot. Yes! "You seemed to be in the mood to play today" Knot asked. I ignored him, his tone sounds like he was up to no good. "He needs to practice for Saturday because he wants to impress his Kong, " Bright added. I raised my brow. "My Kong? " I asked Bright. I threw the ball at him. "Yes, your Kongpob and only. " he continued to tease. "Tsk. Shut the hell up, " I said. I felt like my blood went up to my head. "Whoa, you're blushing, " Prem joined in. They both laughed. "That's enough, " Knot stopped them. "We don't want to annoy Arthit, do we? " then laughed. "He he, " I mocked then glared at them. "Just so you know, I always practice this hard. Unlike you, always slacking off. " They shrugged, not buying it. "Is he really that good that you expected me to be afraid of him? " It was irritating me that everyone seemed to think highly of him. "Not afraid but do not underestimate him, " Knot said. "Tsk, " I smirked. I walked out of the court. I heard them all laugh. They have this habit of annoying me recently. I heard my phone vibrated when I arrived in the locker room. I wonder who was it. I am in town. Meet me tonight at 8. Sahit I was glad to receive a message from her but at the same time there was a pang in my heart. I don't think I am ready to meet her again, yet. It wasn't that I was planning on not meeting her ever again. I just want to be ready and I want to be truly happy for her when we do. I called her immediately to tell her I won't be able to come. "Sah-" she cut me off. "Arthit, I won't take no for an answer. " she didn't even greet me yet. "I am busy, " I reasoned out. "Nope, two or three hours won't hurt your schedule for sure. Come here at 8. I'll introduce you to someone. " then she hung up. I shook my head. It might be her boyfriend. How am I supposed to act in front of your boyfriend? It bothered me. I will have to meet him eventually anyway, soon might be better. I consoled myself. I have thought that this might be a good chance to check her boyfriend out. Although, a part of me hope he breaks her heart when I found out about it. Still, I can't bear to see Sahit hurt. I smiled bitterly. I looked at my watch. 5:30 I still have ample of time to go back to the dormitory and prepare. I took a shower and headed to the hotel she mentioned in her text. Onetel Hotel Room 714 The hotel was located at the center of the city so traffic was inevitable. I was glad I made it on time though. I doubled checked the number again before knocking on the door. I knocked twice but no one was answering. I checked Sahit's message again. I am pretty sure I am at the right hotel and room number. When I was about to knock again. The door opened. I sighed in relief and I slid the corner of my mouth upward to form a smile on my face. When the door opened. I was astonished to see the person who opened the door. "Arthit? " "Kongpob? " We spoke simultaneously. Why the hell is he here?
