Mia held back her tears, ignoring the pain coursing through her body as she dressed hastily.
Without sparing a glance behind her, she stormed towards the door.
Cameron watched her faked composure, his voice as cold as ever. "As a token of tonight, the Alden family's stock will stop plummeting."
Mia couldn't believe her ears. 'How could he reduce my body and our relationship to mere transactions? So, it is true! He has never truly loved me!'
With disdain, she retorted, "Enough, thanks for your generous help, Mr. Financial Mogul. But from now on, don't bother. I'll take care of things myself!"
