Brandon frowned and ended the call, frustration clouding his face. He motioned for a nearby waiter. "Did you see which way the lady in the Tiffany blue dress went?"
The waiter hesitated, his brow furrowing. "I'm sorry, sir, I don't recall seeing anyone matching that description. Is there something else I can assist you with?" At Brandon's silence, he added, "If not, I'll be on my way."
As the waiter departed, Brandon's frown deepened. 'No, I'm sure I saw a waiter escorting Mia and Eve to change earlier. Something's not right. Why can't I get through to them?'
Brandon quickly summoned the waiter back and retraced his steps to the parking lot near the manor's entrance. He strode purposefully to the trunk of his black car.
