Chapter 9

*Aria’s POV* 

I was woken up by Mia and Jade, they held up the ‘shhh’ sign. I was wondering why they did that while they pulled me outside. “Okay, Why did you guys wake me up?”, I asked. “Uhm let’s go somewhere for a bit”, Mia insisted. “Why”, I asked. “Just cuz, I’ll explain on the way”, Jade said. Now I was concerned and very tired. “Alright lets go to my room and change. We all can fit each other clothes, it’s just different styles we have. I mean Jade and I have the same taste and Mia has some good taste. They all kept some spare clothes here, for cases like this. I dressed in a white shirt with a black cardigan and black jeans with my black vans. It was getting colder recently so I put on a black beanie.  

“Let’s go quietly”, Mia said. “Yeah and quick out the house”, Jade said. “Uhhhhh okay”, I said. We hurried down quietly, then got into the car. “We need to talk”, Mia said. “Uhh I figured”, I said. “So what about you and Klaus”, Jade smiled. “Nothing”, I said in a monotone way. “Yeah, I figured. You guys are nothing but yet cuddling on the couch and whispering”, Mia laughed. “Yeah, nothing. He always seems to mess up and I don’t want to keep letting my guard down you know, I’m tired of it.”, I said. “Yeah he has been doing stupid things while he said he was serious about you”, Jade said. “Exactly but I don’t know, we’ll see. I just need time”, I smiled. “Alright Aria we go somewhere to talk and then we buy you a dress for thanks giving”, Mia said. “The f**k not, we ain’t getting no dress for me”, I said. Mia and Jade started to laugh. “I told you”, Jade said to Mia. “Come on please, for me”, Mia did her puppy eyes s**t. I hate when she did that, she looked adorable in a way. “Yeah no”, I smiled. “I’ll buy it”, Mia said. “Will the dress be black”, I raised an eyebrow. “What ever you like”, she smile. “Okay”, I rolled my eyes. I hated wearing dresses. 

We arrived at a dinner and placed our order. I got a text from Klaus on the asking were we were, but I ignored it. “Alright, Axel has been distant. I’m kind of scared”, Mia said. “So has Conner, but I’m starting to worry that I’m going to break.”, Jade said. “How and when did they became distant. “Well I wanted to go with him to somewhere but Axel said no and that he doesn’t need company”, she started to look worried. “So has Conner but in a similar way, I asked him to stay with me because he wanted to go. Then he said he doesn’t want to have company either”, Jade said. “Well then, You sure they aren’t planning anything. “No because even last night he didn’t want to hug me and he didn’t talk to me much”, Jade said. “Same”, Mia agreed. “I’m sorry guys, I don’t have anyway to help. I mean I’m having issues with a boy. Maybe we are allergic to boys at this point”, I laughed and made Jade and Mia laughed. “I know we just have bad luck”, Jade said. “Honestly”, I said. We ate our food and made our way to the car.  

We arrived back and the boys were still there. We saw them in the kitchen just talking. “Hey, where have you been”, Conner asked Jade. “Out”, she said. Damn she was being cold. I guess she wasn’t playing about she said in the car. Conner just nodded his head. Mia went to hug Axel but he didn’t hug back, then I saw Mia hurt. I nodded to Mia, she went to my room. Jade went as well. “What the hell is wrong with you boys”, I asked. “What”, Klaus said. “Ya’ll seeming to f**k up”, I said. “Look why are you guys treating Mia and Jade like s**t or making them feel like they're s**t”, I was starting to get angry. “What do you mean”, Axel said. “Dude, she just tried to hug you and you didn’t hug her”, I said. I know it may seem one sided but they said more in the car but it’s just sad to hear them this way. They didn’t deserve this. “So, I didn’t want to hug”, Axel said. “What a d**k”, I said. “What about you Conner, Jade doesn’t deserve this.”, I formed a fist. “I didn’t know”, he said. “I didn’t think it matter”, he added. “Of course you didn’t, if you want them you better try and do better. Keep it up and they're going to walk right out, and watch them too.”, I said while storming out of the kitchen. I went to go to my room and comfort them.  

I got a text from Klaus that they left. The girls and I made our way down stairs and ate something. They came with me to go fight. Jade wanted to try it as well. I didn’t stop her. I got bonus money because no blood again. I gathered around $1,700. I started to save for a bike or a car, I was still deciding. Jade did good, she was earning money alright. Mia just watched and cheered for us. We made our way to eat again. We were hungry after the fights.  

We got done eating and made our way to the mall, to get dresses. “I’ll take this one”, I said to Mia and Jade. We planned to do tomorrow night for Thanksgiving instead of the day before Thanksgiving.

*Klaus’s POV*

The boys and I went back home. “So what’s up with you and your girls”, I asked. “Nothin much, just distancing. I don’t see what’s bad about it”, Axel said. “Why are you distancing”, I asked while walking to sit down while the boys did the same. “I don’t know, It’s like this feeling of being vulnerable”, Axel sounded overwhelmed. “Axel your whipped mate”, I laughed. “What about you Conner”, I chucked. “Same thing with Axel, it’s weird. I honestly think I’m scared.”, he looked down. “Why”, I paid attention because I joke but I care for the people I love. “I’m scared that she’ll wake up one day and not want me. I don’t know why but it does. Like today, truly scared me when Aria got mad. When she said they're going to walk out, I realized I didn’t want to distance myself anymore.”, his eyes looked like it was starting to water. “You guys love them, don’t you?”, I asked. They kept quiet till Axle broke the silence. “Yeah I love Mia”, he said. “I love Jade”, Conner said as well. “Why don’t you guys tell them”, I said. “Yeah, but they don’t want to talk to us”, Axel said. “Guy’s since we have thanksgiving together with them, let’s sing them a song. It’ll be perfect, I want to ask out Aria. If we do sing, the guys are going to watch and listen.”, I said. “That’s genius”, Axel said. “Yeah”, Conner smiled. “Alright what song”, Axel stood up and grabbed the guitar. “Uhh let’s think”, I said and we took out our phones. I was scrolling through my Spotify liked songs. It took about 3 minutes to find one. “How about Just the way you are by Bruno Mars”, Conner said. “Yeah, definitely”, Axel sounded serious. “Do you guys want to make our back house a music den?”, I asked. It would be very useful. “We could let the girls use it as well.”, I added. “Hell yeah”, Conner jumped up. “That would be dope”, Axel stood up as well. “Sounds good, we'll let the girl’s know tomorrow.”, I said. We went to practice for a good hour for tomorrow.
