Chapter 2

*Aria’s POV*

It was Mia and Axel, Jade and Conner, and last but not least Klaus with me. Klaus was scooting closer to me, when I looked up I saw Mia and Jade smirking. Ugh I swear, these girls are annoying sometimes. I did like it when he sat down near me. He smells good and he is good looking. 

“How’s it going”, Conner smiled toward Jade. Conner does have a nice smile but not compared to Klaus. “It’s going good”, Jade replied with a smile. Jade was turning a bit red. I know I can tease her about it. “Why are you guys sitting here”, I raised an eyebrow. “Yeah”, Mia did the same as me. “We can’t sit with the people we like”, Klaus said smiling at me. “So you guys like us, huh?”, Jade said, causing us to laugh. “So hard to believe?”, Axel smirked. “No not really”, Jade said, causing us to laugh more. I go to say, today was going pretty well. 

“You're really cute today”, Klaus whispered in my ear, causing me to blush. “Oh does the bad girl blush?”, he whispered again. I started to laugh lightly. “Nope”, I said smiling. During lunch it was just us laughing and talking. We had a vibe with them. Am I opening up? If so, this is going to be one hell of a ride. 

Lunch was over. The boys were walking with us to our next class. P.E. On our way we passed the popular girls, Emma Owen was the rich, clingy, and a bully popular girl. She stared at me intensely while I was with Klaus. Not to mention Klaus' arm was around my shoulder. The other boys did the same with Mia and Jade. I got to say they are adorable with each other. When we got to our classes we said goodbye to the boys, and of course they had to wink and smile. Every time Klaus does it, I feel like I'm suffocating. He was freaking adorable. 

“Hey Jade how’s it going”, I bumped into her a little. Mia and I started to laugh. “Shut up”, Jade laughed. “You guys do look cute together”, Mia added after we laugh. “Yeah” I second it. “Your guys ship name can be, Janner”, Mia added. I got to admit, Mia is really creative. Little does she know I have a ship name for her and Axel. “Hey Mia, you and Axel ship's name can be Mel”, I started to laugh after what I said. Jade started laughing too. “Shut up”, Mia chuckled. “Hey Aria do you like Klaus?”, Mia asked curiously. “Well, I’m meeting him after school so I don’t know”, I shrugged. Just a couple more minutes till school ends. I pulled out my phone, when I felt a buzz.

Mom: Clean up your f*****g room. It’s a mess. Clean up the whole house too. 

Aria: I will. 

Mom: You better. I’m tired of taking care of you guys.

Aria: Okay.

Mom: I’m working an extra shift at the dinner. Make sure you cook for your brother.

Aria: I always do. 

Mom: No you don’t. You always think about yourself.

Aria: I do take care of him, you're just not there to see it. 

Mom: Shut up, don’t talk to me like that!

I just ignored it and put away my phone. She always does this. It actually has been happening more often. I’m tired of taking it from her. I felt another buzz, I went to look at it and it was Nick. 

Nick: Hey Aria, can I stay after school for a bit? I want to chill with Luke for a bit.

Aria: Yeah, just meet me in the front when you're done. 

Nick: Alright, Thanks!

Class had ended by the time I put my phone in my pocket. I said bye to the girls and walked in the front of the school. I went to look for Klaus, by the time I saw him he was with a girl. He was smirking and flirting. I already knew what he was doing, so I decided to walk back in school and wait for Nick. I sat down on a table that was in the cafeteria. I started to think.

I was kinda disappointed when I saw Klaus with the girl. Was I hurt?, I don’t think so. Why would it affect me so much?, Ugh I don’t know. I mean if he was flirting with me today and flirting with others, I don’t want that. I can’t be then committed and he isn’t. Well, I think I should stick with no relationships. It’s for the best. It would be another responsibility for me. Yeah, i’m just going to stay single. 

“Hey babe”, Klaus smiled. I just nodded. “Why didn’t you meet me?”, Klaus asked with the one eyebrow up gesture. I looked away and pulled out my phone. “What’s wrong”, Klaus looked a bit concerned. Maybe I should’ve just answered him and also Klaus really doesn’t do the concerned crab with other girls. hmmm, weird. “Nothin”, I said, continuing looking at my phone. “I wanna talk with you, can we talk when you feel better?”, He started to get up. I think I should be more considerate. I mean he just came this way instead of leaving. I felt another buzz, I looked at my phone and Nick was ready to go. “How about later today at 6?”, I looked at him. I saw he smiled, which made me smile. “Yeah, sounds good”, “I’ll bring pizza for us and Nick”, he added. “Okay, see you later”, I started to get up. 

Nick and I arrived home after meeting up. “Bruh, why did she do it again”, Nick said angrily. I looked around and found a bunch of messes around the living room. Oh no not again. “Go check our rooms Nick”, I said calmly. I try to keep my cool because if not there would be holes in the wall. “Our room is a mess, she did it again Aria”, “When will she stop, i’m getting tired of this Aria”, he added. “I’m sorry Nick, she is like this. She is just the way she is. Anyway, let’s clean this up, Klaus is coming with pizza.”, I said while picking up things. “Alright, Is there anything going on between you too?”, He raised his eyebrow at me. “No”, I said while throwing a plastic smashed cup. We laughed, I started blasting music on the speaker while cleaning. Listening to music helps clear my mind. I have a lot of issues to deal with so one at a time apparently. My mother just keeps pissing me off, she always goes into our room and throws s**t around. It’s so annoying, it’s invading my privacy and that is disrespectful. I don’t even go in her room. Just 2 more years and I’ll be free. 

I went to open the door for Klaus, since he came over. “Hey, I got a delivery for Aria, that’ll be $20”, He had his hand out. “Very funny”, I said sarcastically. “Nick pizzas here”, I shouted so he could hear me from upstairs. “Alright”, Nick shouted. “We’ll go up to my room. Mine is up the stairs to the right.”, I started going up the stairs passing Nick. I heard a little conversation with them but I just continued going to my room. 

Later, Klaus came in. “Honeyyyy I’m home”, he said with a hand gesture and a pizza in his hand. I started to laugh. “You have a cute laugh”, he smiled. “You think so”, I said with an eyebrow up. “Yes, Indeed”, He sat closer. “What did you want to talk about'', I asked while trying to change the topic. “I wanted to talk about us being a thing”, He sounded serious. “Why”, I seemed to be shifting away from him. To play it off I went to get a pizza slice. “I like you”, he looked at me. “Why do you like me, we hardly hangout”, I said sitting back down on my bed. “Do you like me?”, he got up and sat in front of me. He was looking at me. “I don’t know”, I said looking away. “Look at me and tell me if you like me”, He sounded nervous. Why is he sounding like this? He is normally a fool of himself. “Yes I do, but i’m not sure”, I looked at him. “You do”, he sounded happy. “Yes, but I don’t know if I want to be in a relationship. I mean we barely hangout. I don’t want to get hurt. Even this bad girl ego, can’t handle it.”, I sighed. “How about we start to get to know each other.”, he lifted my chin, so I can see him. He seems to be serious. “Yeah, I would like that”, I smiled. He grabbed himself a slice of pizza. I turned on the TV and played The Vampire Diaries. It was season 6 with Kai Parker. “Do we have to watch this'', Klaus rolled his eyes. “Yes, in fact Kai is in it”, I bite my bottom lip. “More of a reason not to watch it”, he groaned. “Is Klaus Wood jealous of Kai'', I said. “No, I'm way more handsome than him, look at me then look at him”, he flexed. “Keep dreaming”, I laughed. 

I woke up feeling something wrapped around me. It was Klaus. It has only been about 1 hour since I started watching TV. I really liked being wrapped around him. I felt secure. “Hey, sleepy head wake up”, I shook his arm. “No just a little more”, he said, gripping me back to how I was. “You know we're not a couple and you are holding me”, I said calmly. “Shhhhh I don’t care and you smell good”, he said sleepily. I went back to sleep snuggling into him closer. “mmmm'', he said. I woke up again but this time about 2 hours later, I looked up to him and smiled. “I don’t know what you’re doing to me”, I moved this hair out of his face. I kissed his cheek, surprisingly. I got out of his hold and went downstairs to get coffee for the both of us. 

“Oh hey Aria”, Nick said while drinking some milk. “Hey, when you’re down just clean up after yourself and do you”, I finished making coffee. “Okay”, he said. “If you need anything, just know what's on my door”, I said walking up the stairs. “Alright”, he shouted. 

“Wake up, here I got us some coffee”, I shook Klaus' arm. “Good morning beautiful”, he smiled. “It’s still night time”, I laughed. “uh huh”, he sipped some coffee. “Can I ask you something?”, he said, placing his coffee down. “Yeah”, I sipped some coffee. “Why did you go to the cafeteria after seeing me outside”, he sat up. “You know about that huh”, I was surprised he saw me. “I just saw you flirting with a girl, so I just left. I didn’t want to interrupt you.” I added. “You saw that too”, he chuckled. “You know if they want there to be an us, why do you still flirt with other girls.”, I sighed. “I have to keep up the reputation, but I am serious about us though”, he looked at me. “Okay”, I sat on my bed. “How about tomorrow we go to the movies and get ice cream tomorrow?”, he said happily. “Yeah, sounds good”, I smiled. 

I was getting sleepy, so Klaus left and I cleaned up. Later I went to check on Nick, and went back to my room.
