Chapter Nine: Love Between Immortals

Safiya's life was far different then she had ever expected it would be. Here she was past her twenty-first birthday, with someone she never expected to be with. They were celebrating with her mothers and her father and some close friends of theirs. Even Ankh was there now that Bastet had finally returned him to Safiya.
