Love is an ever-changing emotion, it can be happy, it can be sad, it can be full of light, and full of darkness. There are all kinds of love out there. Love for yourself, love for your friends, love for your lover, love for your spouse, love for your children.
The way people love is different. Some love openly whereas others hide it. Love was made to be eternal, as Bastet learned, the first love she had was not eternal, but it was never meant to be.
The love that was meant to be eternal for her was the love she shared with Anubis. She had to travel a long, hard, and dark path to get that love. Once she got it, she never let it go. Even now she clings to the love she and Anubis share, and nothing on this earth, in this universe could ever take that from her. The love she had for him would never be forgotten, it would never be taken away it would remain as they were...It would ve eternal until the time ceased and the heavens and earth are no longer.
And Bastet learned, as we all can, that Love, true love, is Eternal...
