Grading final exams in my office, all the students have left to go home for Christmas break. I had to stay late to grade papers and its now dark outside. Abigail has been living with me for a week; waking up to her every morning has been wonderful.
I pulled out my phone to send her a text letting her know I would be home late.
Me: I’m grading exams. I’ll be back later than usual.
Abigail: Ok my love. Lucy and I are at the bar right now anyway.
Me: Have fun. I’ll pick you up after I am done here. I love you.
