I wipe the sweat from my forehead, trying not to think about how bad I must look after another session in the gym practising against the dummies. I haven"t told either of my friends about the extra practice I"ve been doing, a little embarrassed of all the extra help I need. Neither of them will make me feel bad about it, but that"s almost not the point. I pass the door that Haynes took us through to meet the dragon and pause. Something about it is calling out to me even though we haven"t been through it since that day. I check both ways down the corridor to make sure no one is coming and push on it once I"m sure the coast is clear. I"m surprised to find it slip open beneath my touch. Should it be locked? Or maybe they figure that it doesn"t need to be when everyone knows there"s at least
