The confrontation

At home everyone including the servants where surprise to hear that Maxi is pregnant and that she lost her virginity while being intoxicated. They were all gossiping over who the father of the child could be and if he is unemployed or what. Maxi didn't mind their gossip and was only focusing on how she could get a hold of Roy so that she can tell him about the pregnancy and she has the support of both her uncle Tom and aunt Ester. With all this going on she forgot to tell her best friend Nickey about everything in fact she didn't know how to tell her though. One Thursday morning while still sleeping her uncle Tom come to woke her up and asked her to go to the shopping mall with him to buy some groceries. She nodded and said he should give her a few minutes to shower and to get dressed. Tom told her that he will be waiting in the car for he she shouldn't take that long. After getting dressed Maxi and her uncle went to the shopping mall for the groceries. Tom asked Maxi to go into the store so long because he needs to make an important call, he handed the groceries list to her and told her to only buy the things on the list. Maxi went into the store and as she was busy collecting the items on the list she saw Roy busy paying for his items at the cashier. She called out his name and when he looked into her direction she told him to come closer she has something to tell him. Being the bad boy he is Roy walked towards her and asked "what's up?" Maxi told him straight up that she's pregnant and that his the father of the child. Roy started to laugh and said "you're joking right" Maxi said no I'm pregnant. Roy was shocked and asked her if she is sure and if he is really the father of her child because he doesn't believe it. After seeing his response and hearing those words coming from his mouth Maxi started to cry and hit him with a load of bread while saying "you coward you took my virginity! How could you say such things" Not noticing her uncle standing in the back of her she kept on hitting Roy and Tom went near to stop her. Stop making a fuss over this low life Maxi his not worth it while giving Roy a deadly stare. Roy kept on running his mouth by saying "who's you're low life old man you're poor stop acting as if you're somebody. You better teach her not to sleep with everyman she meets on the first night she doesn't even know me now she want to tell me she's carrying my child oh hell no it ain't mine! " Tom responded boy don't test me you don't know who I am and mark my words you don't want to find out. Walking out of the store Maxi was still crying but Tom consoled her while they waited for the driver to come with the vehicle. Roy rushed outside to see where they are going to his surprise when he saw the Bentley motor vehicle stopping right in front of Tom an Maxi and the chauffeur who asked Boss and my lady are you ready to go back. Without thinking about his actions earlier Roy rushed to the vehicle knocking at the vehicle asking for Maxi to forgive him and saying that his sorry before they left the parking area Tom asked the driver to stop he than rolled down his window and asked Roy to remove his filthy hands off his vehicle. Obediently Roy did what was expected of him and throw a piece of paper through the window with his number on asking Maxi to give him a call please. Her uncle furiously told the driver to drive and rolled up the window. As they drive back hom Tom asked Maxi if she wanted Roy to be part of her child's life after what he just did but Maxi couldn't answer him directly she just stared into the open field outside the window. Tom than added you should think carefully about this because it is an important decision you don't want to put your child through any pain or disappointments just because you can't let go of a man who is not ready to be a father.
