The next morning Maxi couldn't get herself to get out of bed she felt hopeless and ashamed she can't help to think the worst of her life and even thought of committing suicide. She was devastated she grabbed her cellphone from her bed stand cupboard and searched for a doctor nearby to arrange for a check up in the afternoon after she was done with her chores. Finally she found one Doctor Dominique Smith she copied his number and gave him AL call his assistant than informed her that there is only a opening for half pass three (15pm) that afternoon and she took the opening. Before Maxi could say goodbye she heard her bedroom door opening and she end the call and pretended that she was asleep. I can't believe that you're still in bed why are you being so lazy Maxi! These few weeks I saw you sitting around and always being tired what is wrong with you is this what we are paying you for Ester sounded very irritated. From under the blankets Maxi responded by saying I'm not feeling well aunty my stomach is hurting I'm sorry. You were perfectly fine last night before you went to bed so how is it that you are sick now? Come get up I'll book you an appointment at our family doctor this instant. Sick? Uhmmm we will see about that! Trying to fool me your are just being ungrateful and you are spoiled but guess what I'm not your uncle who will pity you. Maxi started to cry out of anxiety because what if she is pregnant, how will she confront her aunt and uncle about it and also the family doctor will inform her uncle about her results. Aunty please! Maxi called out to Ester I will make my own appointment at a doctor nearby, in fact I already have one so please I don't want to be a burden for you and uncle leave this to me I will go and see the doctor today. Ester gave Maxi one look and asked her why are you so jumpy is there something you are hiding from us? With a very fast reply Maxi answered " No Aunty there is nothing I have no secrets". You see now I know something is wrong you beter wash up and get dress me and you both will be going to the doctor today I want to see what you're hiding from us and you beter hope it's not what I think it is.... As Ester walked out of the bedroom Maxi started to shiver she took out her phone and called Nickey she informed her about everything which occurred yesterday evening as well as the present morning. Nickey didn't say a single word all she could say was oh my goodness we are screwed your aunt is going to kill us both you better come clean are you sure that Roy used protection. Maxi cried even more after hearing those words because she knew that if the doctors results will show that she is pregnant than her Aunty will definitely kick her out of the house and she wasn't one hundred percent sure if Roy used protection or not. Nickey than told her to speak the truth and to tell her uncle and aunt exactly what happened the night she snagged out the house, but Maxi kept on replying with the words "I can't Nickey". While still being on a call with her friend her Aunty Ester was yelling "I hope you're busy getting done because I'm waiting on you, today I want to see who this so called doctor Dominique is" Maxi responded yes mam I'm busy and said goodbye to her friend who was still on the phone call. Maxi than realized that it is already past two in the afternoon and that she really need to get ready for the doctors appointment. After Maxi was done Ester was sitting in the living room waiting for her and so they drove to the Smith's Clinic for Maxi's checkup. She asked her aunt if she was sure she wants to go with her she can go by herself. Ester said no! And insisted on going with her for her checkup she even asked Maxi " is there something that you are trying to hide from us perhaps? Maxi answered okay okays and no aunt there is nothing you can come with me and so they went for her checkup.
