“See you soon,” Sabrina said to Travis.
They were returning from the same hallway they came from. Most of them who attended the party had passed out and wasted. Travis insisted on walking Sabrina to her room.
“Yeah,” Travis said, stroking Wynter’s hair, who slept long before the party ended.
Travis was carrying Wynter, laying her head on his shoulder.
“Mamma Iris,” Wynter stirred in her sleep.
“I am here baby” Sabrina lightly caressed her cheeks feeling more and more drawn to the little girl who had grown attached to her in a bit of time she spent by her side.

“Huh?” Sabrina knitted her brow, not catching on to what he meant.
