Cole's POV I couldn’t sleep. Not because the bed was uncomfortable, but because my mind wouldn’t stop circling the same thought—Emily. Her spoilt phone was all we’d found. No trail, no clue, nothing that made sense. It was like she’d vanished into thin air. I sat there in the dark, elbows resting on my knees, just staring at the faint glow from the streetlight bleeding through the curtains. My chest was tight, my jaw aching from clenching it so hard.
