Campbell Vaughn stretches out the diagram on the tabletop in front of Pari Malik. Early afternoon light floods into the dining room of Abby's bungalow, clearly illuminating his orderly page and the seating arrangements for the wedding rehearsal dinner. Set for ten people, the rectangular table had four chairs on both of the long sides and chairs on each end. Abby was perched at the northern end of the table in the largest chair, in tribute to her status as the bride. To Abby's left is her maid of honor, Katerina.
