Estelle's POV I crossed to the sofa and deliberately chose the seat farthest from them. I released no scent at all, yet the temperature in the room seemed to drop several degrees. Among wolves, silence can cut deeper than pheromones. Melody practically glued herself to Cassius's side, wrapping both arms around his, her scent cloyingly sweet.
