Chapter 50: Chapter Fifty: A Familiar Feeling
"Called, but no one answered." Mrs. Su lied; she had never intended to make that call in the first place. She was still keeping her visit to Mrs. Harper a secret from Mr. Hansom.
"Keep calling. With something happening at home, can she really stay out of it?" After saying this, Mr. Hansom lit another cigarette. The ashtray was already full by morning.
"Alright." Mrs. Su took out her phone, pretending to call Camille Hansom, but secretly sent her a message: "Don't come home under any circumstances."
