Eugene Harper, not one to stand on ceremony, leaned in and said earnestly, "I really do need your help with something, but I'm afraid you won't agree to it."
This made Anastasia Hansom frown, puzzled. "At a time like this, if there's anything that can help, why wouldn't I do it?"
Eugene Harper loved her serious look. He whispered something in her ear, causing her face to flush red instantly. She pushed him away, glaring at him. "Siyan, you've really become a bad influence. Don't ever say such things to me again. I have patients to see to, so be careful yourself."
With that, Anastasia Hansom hurried back to her clinic, her heart racing as she replayed Eugene Harper's joke in her mind.
