Bevis Benedict wanted to reach out and grab his phone back, but unfortunately, his hands couldn't even lift. He was just bewildered by where Anastasia Hansom had found the courage to do such a thing. His eyelids were already drooping heavily, and his consciousness was starting to blur; he could only use what little strength he had left to speak to her.
"Chaochao, promise me, don't go to this place. It's really... really not a place for you."
But Anastasia Hansom didn't listen to him. Instead, she picked up the suit hanging on his chair and covered him with it. "Bevis Benedict, don't worry. I have my reasons for doing this. I will come back safely. You just need to get some sleep."
