Watching the newly named Malicah dance and celebrate, Michael worries eased temporarily. After Leana collapsed a thread of unease passed through him. Leana had been gifted with the ability to see to future and the ability of deception. She knew when anyone was lying which is what made her perfect for the committal. He looked over at his bondmate and smiled as she danced with Malicah and the other angels. Micah approached him and said, "Not tonight but I want you and Gabriella to meet me tomorrow. I want to know what Leana saw tonight. If there's another uprising coming, I need all my strongest warriors ready." Michael nodded, "I understand and thank you for letting her have this night. Do you think it has to do with...." "If it does have anything to do with Angelica, lets know it before her committal not after." Gabriella danced over and grabbed Michael's hands. He laughed and picked her up carrying her off to the grounds. He let the events of the night fade to the back of his mind as he danced with his family. Angelica danced with her brother chanting his new name which of course started all the angels up again. She wasn’t his by birth but when he'd made the decision to not break his bond vow, he had promise to raise her as his. When he found out what Lucifer had done to Gabriella, breaking the bond only came to his mind after he learned how long she'd hid it from him. For almost a month, she kept that pain and betrayal to herself only telling when her pregnancy became apparent. She'd stopped sleeping in their bed only coming back when she was too tormented by the dreams to sleep alone. It was at that time he feared she loved another. The truth hurt worst than the lie he’d begun to believe. After the banishment, they'd had a long talk and when he'd committed to raising the child he’d felt the relief flood over her. One of his gifts was the ability to extend calmness to others and when that gift couldn’t help his bondmate he was crushed. Looking at his family now, he'd never been happier with his decision to stay. Finally the celebrations began to die out with Angelica steady yawning and he gently sent her off to bed. He walked over to Malicah who was sitting on his throne yawning. "Malicah, how are you feeling?" Malicah shrugged, "Honestly? I don’t know i guess being a matured hasn’t really sank in yet. I am tired but rules are rules so in a few I’m headed to the gates to fly over and watch the heavens as is tradition." Michael nodded in understanding. The first night of a newly named angel also came with the duty of flying over the heavens from moon high until sundown the next day then entering into a sparring event right after. Usually Michael hosted the event but for Malicah, he'd stepped back to let Gavin do it. Doing the first spar when an angel was tired showed their commitment as well as strength when weakened. Micah always believed when everything is on the line and one is exhausted is when they fight their hardest. He looked at the moon creeping across the sky as Gabriella danced over to them. She was vibrant and was showing no signs of slowing down. "Aren’t you tired yet, mom?" Michael said around another yawn as he stood up and stretched. She grabbed him and spun him around, quite a feat for her small size as she giggled and shook her head. Michael laughed, "She was in the gardens today with your sister. I’m surprised Angelica was tired." No matter how tired Gabriella was, a trip in the gardens always rejuvenated her. Shed been like that from her creation; the gardens brought her happiness even in bad times. Many nights Michael would carry a sleeping Gabriella to bed after too many days in the gardens. Eventually she'd sleep but when she was on a high she extended her energy to others. She smiles at Malicah and as he yawned again his eyes slipped closed for a second. When Gabriella tilted her head, Michael told her hands and shook his head. "He has to do this on his own Hun. I know what you're thinking and if you give him an energy boost it wouldn’t be all him now would it?" "He's right mom but I got this. So if you don’t mind imma go ahead and fly over to the gates. If I stay here any longer I’m afraid I may fall asleep so imma keep moving." With that he kissed them both good night and flew off. Michael brought Gabriella close to him and they danced around for a few minutes before she looked up at him and said, "I going to find Leana tomorrow. I feel i need to know what she saw in our children’s' future. I also want her to look into Angelica's for i fear for her." Michael looked down at her, "Micah already want us to meet him and Leana tomorrow. Why do you fear Angelica's future?" A look of fear crossed her face as she pushed away from him and walked away. Michael followed her suddenly confused. As she led him into their room she sat on the bed holding her hands out to him. He took her hands and spread calmness to her frantic heart as he waited for her to speak. She swallowed hard and her eyes began to feel with tears. He sat beside her and held her close humming her heartsong as he continued to emit calmness. As he did he thought on their beginning. When he was met her, all he knew then was she was gorgeous and smart. It was the day of his committal that he began humming a song, that song later turned out to be her heartsong: the song that never fails to calm ones bondmate. It was how they'd found their way to each other time and time again. Now it was her heartsong combined with his calming gift that allowed her to speak.
