Ivy’s POV
The air is buzzing with apprehension as I sit across from Sophia in a quiet part of a café. The buzz of chatter scarcely registers as I lean forward, my voice low and urgent.
“I need your help,” I reply, my eyes glued into hers. “Victor and Marissa are plotting something big something that could destroy Griffin. I can’t do this alone.”
Sophia lifts a finely curled brow, stirring her coffee carefully. “Ivy, do you know what you’re asking? Getting linked with them is perilous. They won’t simply roll over if we start digging.”
“I know,” I respond, my heart thumping. “But we don’t have a choice. Victor previously revealed important information regarding the arrangement. If we don’t stop him, Griffin’s whole firm might collapse.”
