GRIFFIN’S CONFLICT Griffin’s POV Griffin stands at the doorway, his body stiff and unyielding. His eyes flame with rage, and I can already feel the storm brewing in his stare. My heart stutters, prepared for the final detonation. “You’ve been lying to me,” he says, his voice cutting and icy as a sword. “How long has this been going on, Ivy?” I freeze, the weight of his charge coming down on me. The space seems smaller, the air heavy with worry. “Griffin, please let me explain...” “Explain?” He gives out a loud chuckle, his eyes narrowing. “You’ve had multiple chances to explain, and every time, you kept your mouth shut. Now Victor is circling like a buzzard, and somehow, you’re in the heart of it all!” I stride toward him, my hands trembling. “I wasn’t trying to lie to you!
