A NEW BEGINNING
The smell of rain and city lights filled the chilly night air. I allowed the refreshing breeze to caress my skin as I rested against the balcony railing. Below, the city loomed in a limitless sea of sparkling lights, teeming with activity and opportunity.
I was able to breathe for the first time in what seemed like an eternity.
